The difference between an enemy at full strength compared to a weakened one is incredible, and once you can unlock Thaumaturge Cat, do it. The weakening effect is still 50%, too, and one Thaumaturge alone is enough to perma-weaken, so even the most mighty of enemies who OHKO your meatshields may not be able to do so. A stack of Thaumaturges, Paris Cats and meatshields will do the trick a lot of the time. Thanks to these improvements, there's no longer a risk of stacking and going into the meatshielding trouble for the enemy to not even be weakened. Thaumaturge Cat gains improved health and increases her weaken chance to 100%. Also, to prevent her from weakening the enemy's peons instead of the boss, pair her with Paris Cat and Crazed Sexy Legs Cat so that only the boss remains standing. Onmyoji Cat has a useful niche against enemies that may otherwise prove impossible to consistently stall, such as Kory, Dober P.D, Crazed Cat and Primeval Cyclone, but she suffers from Single Target, a long attack animation and low DPS and health. Weaken is vastly inferior to slow and freeze in most cases, but what makes Onmyoji Cat unique is that she can weaken almost any enemy in the game, even Relics and, more importantly, Traitless.
